Job Responsibilities

• Show proficiency in managing a register/POS system to handle various forms of transactions, including cash and credit.
• Extend a warm welcome to patrons and provide assistance by anticipating their needs
• Count and classify the cash in the drawer, complete the cash register form, and deposit the money into the bank
• Conforms to Aramark's rules and procedures when dealing with cash transactions
• Possess knowledge of the merchandise on sale to provide support to customers and carry out transactions correctly
• Fulfill the prescribed opening and closing duties as assigned corresponding to the unit operating hours
• Preserve a sterile and orderly work atmosphere while attending to customers and when finishing the shift.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of products in the specified location and refill when necessary to meet demand.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures without exception

Qualifications

• Previous experience in serving customers is a valuable asset
• It is preferred for candidates to have previous experience in cash handling
• Fundamental math knowledge and counting skills are a requirement
• Demonstrated capability to work independently and complete tasks with little direction
• Observe location-specific mandates by accomplishing the necessary Food Handler and Alcohol Service certifications

This position may involve physical tasks like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Additionally, uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required for this role.
