Job Responsibilities

• Expertly manage a register/POS terminal to process cash and credit transactions securely.
• Welcome and assist customers while foreseeing what they might require
• Balance and categorize the cash drawer, fill out the cashier sheet, and deposit funds into the bank account
• Adheres to the standards and processes outlined by Aramark for cash handling
• Familiarize yourself with the products for sale to better assist customers and ensure transactions are processed correctly
• Implement the designated commencement and conclusion steps as directed for the unit's operating hours
• Sustain a hygienic and organized work environment at all times, including post-shift cleanup.
• Ensure that the stock levels of items in the designated area are up to standard and replenish as necessary.
• Abide by all safety policies and procedures in place

Qualifications

• Preference is given to those with a history of customer service experience
• A background in cash handling is advantageous
• Adequate skills in basic math operations and numerical counting are needed
• Ability to function independently and execute tasks with limited monitoring
• Satisfy location-based criteria by attending the required Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings

This position may require physical effort, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. The role may also involve the use of uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
