Job Responsibilities

• Proficiently manage a cash register/POS system and process both cash and credit transactions.
• Welcome and support clients by anticipating their requirements
• Perform a cash drawer count, arrange and reconcile the funds, complete the cash register log, and process bank deposits
• Follows Aramark's guidelines and protocols regarding the handling of cash
• Have a thorough grasp of the products available for sale to help customers effectively and process transactions correctly
• Carry out the specified opening and closing protocols in accordance with the unit’s designated operating schedule
• Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the workday and at the close of business hours.
• Maintain the proper stock levels of products in the designated area and restock as required during operational hours.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service is preferred
• Prior exposure to managing cash transactions is advantageous
• Basic mathematical and counting abilities are necessary
• Proficiency in working autonomously with minimal oversight is crucial
• Meet the necessary obligations by undergoing mandated Food Handler and Alcohol Service certifications according to the specific location's regulations

This position may involve physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged periods of walking and standing. It may also necessitate the use of uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
